Reseller Hosting DNS / Custom Nameservers Print

If your domain is registered in HOSTILICA:

1. Log into your Client Area.
2. Select "My Domains" under the "Domains" navigation.
3. Select your domain.
4. Select "Nameservers" from the left vertical navigation.
5. Select the "Use default nameservers" option.
6. Select "Private Nameservers" from the left vertical navigation.
7. Set custom/child Nameservers if you would like your customers to point their domains to your own Nameservers instead of our default nameservers.
   • Ex: (ns1.yourdomain.com) and (ns2.yourdomain.com) pointing to the server's IP.

If your domain is not registered in HOSTILICA:

1. Log into your domain registrar.
2. Set the Nameservers to (ns1.hostilica.net) and (ns2.hostilica.net).
3. Set custom/child Nameservers if you would like your customers to point their domains to your own Nameservers instead of our default nameservers.
   • Ex: (ns1.yourdomain.com) and (ns2.yourdomain.com) pointing to the server's IP.

Login to your WHM:

1. Select "Basic WebHost Manager® Setup" from the left navigation.
2. Select "Explicitly Set the Nameservers" and set your own Nameservers.
3. Select "Edit DNS Zone" from the left navigation.
4. Scroll down and Add New Entries
   • Add Record (ns1) with the type (A) pointing to the server's IP address.
   • Add Record (ns2) with the type (A) pointing to the server's IP address.
