When your domain expires, it may enter a grace period of 30 days. Maybe less, more or none depending on your TLD.
There is no guarantee for recovery. Many TLDs, including country-code TLDs, follow their own process and may not be eligible for the renewal grace period.
The grace fee is $30 in addition to the renewal fee of the domain. But, only charges if the renewal grace process is successful.
Domain Redemption Period:
When your domain expires and you missed the grace period, your domain may enter a redemption period of 30 days after the renewal grace period ends. Maybe less, more or none depending on your TLD.
There is no guarantee for recovery. Many TLDs, including country-code TLDs, follow their own process and may not be eligible for the redemption recovery period.
The redemption fee is $288 in addition to the renewal fee of the domain and the grace fee. But, only charges if the redemption process is successful.
